Is GAOYU a manufacturer or a trading company?
GAOYU is a manufacturer. Zhongshan Gaoyu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. operates its own factory in Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China — the area known as China's lock capital. R&D, mould making, injection, SMT assembly, finished-product testing and export are all handled in-house, so buyers deal directly with the production team rather than an intermediary.

GAOYU was established in 2018. The company runs a scaled smart fingerprint lock manufacturing centre with in-house tooling, a dedicated R&D team and a technical support team, and holds a number of national patents.
Which markets does GAOYU export to?
Main export markets are Turkey, Israel, the Middle East, the EU, Central Asia and Africa. Products are CE (RED) certified and documents are prepared for EU customs clearance.

What product ranges does GAOYU make?
Five ranges: full-automatic face recognition locks (N1, N9, N7, N2, N8, Y01, 2355, A10, B13), semi-automatic one-grip locks (T2), aluminium door and window locks (V8, F31), room door locks (F3, F18, Q1), US-standard smart deadbolts (DS07, DS05) and rim locks (2388).
What is a rim lock, and what is the 2388?
A rim lock — known in Chinese as a 'bull-head' lock — is surface-mounted: the body sits on the face of the door instead of inside a mortise pocket. That means an existing door can be upgraded without cutting a large opening, and the original mechanical lock can stay as a backup. The 2388 is GAOYU's rim smart lock: semiconductor fingerprint, password, IC card and mechanical key, 1 administrator plus 99 users, four AA batteries.
Which unlock methods are available?
Depending on model: 3D structured-light face recognition, semiconductor fingerprint, palm vein, password (including anti-peep virtual passwords), IC card, mechanical key, mobile app and temporary password.
Do the locks work with TUYA?
Full-automatic models run on the TUYA smart platform, so they can be controlled from the TUYA / Smart Life app and integrated with voice assistants. Some models use a WeChat mini program instead; the product page for each model states which platform applies.
What door thickness do the locks fit?
Most full-automatic models fit 35–100 mm doors; the A10 and B13 fit 45–120 mm. Each model page lists the exact range and the lock body options (6068, 6590, 5572, 6585, 6085) so the lock can be matched to the local door standard.
OEM / ODM and ordering
Can I put my own brand on the products?
Yes. GAOYU offers OEM and ODM. Customisation covers the logo, housing colour, finish, packaging, user manual and language of the voice prompts. ODM projects can also adjust the appearance and function configuration.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is 100 units per model for standard colours and 300 units for custom colours or OEM housing. Sample orders are accepted so buyers can evaluate quality before committing to bulk.
How long does a sample take?
Standard models are usually shipped from stock within a few days. Customised samples — new logo, colour or packaging — typically take about 7–15 working days depending on the change.
What are the payment and shipping terms?
T/T 30% deposit with the balance before shipment. Shipment is FOB Shenzhen or Zhongshan, with CIF available on request. Bulk production lead time is normally 25–35 days after deposit and artwork confirmation.

Certification & quality
What certifications do the locks carry?
CE (RED) certification, certificate number DLE-260609033C, supported by test reports to EN 62368-1, EN 50663, EN 301 489-1/-3 and EN 300 330. The company also holds ISO quality management system certification.
How is reliability tested?
In-house testing covers 500,000 fingerprint click cycles, 48-hour and 72-hour salt-spray tests on the fingerprint module, a dry-finger residue test requiring under 20% residue, 100,000 handle press-down cycles, and USB emergency power backup verification.
What warranty do you offer?
Standard warranty is 12 months from shipment for manufacturing defects. Spare parts — fingerprint modules, motors, keypads and batteries — are supplied for distributor stock so local after-sales can be handled without returning units to China.
